CONSULTANCY SERVICES

Varna Shipping and Trading JSC acted as a consultant when the 5-year contract between Kremikovtzi metallurgical plant and Coeclerici was signed. This project employed a unique logistics scheme for open-sea lighterage of ships in the Bay of Burgas. Thanks to this method, ships of 140,000 mt deadweight were able to call the port of Burgas.

In October 2004, the hundredth lightered vessel was celebrated – m/v Mommy Duckling, a panamax with 78,585 deadweight capacity. This vessel was also chartered via Varna Shipping and Trading.
