FIRST MEETING OF THE BULGARIAN MARITIME BROKERS

On the 5th of June 2009, the first meeting of the maritime brokers working in Bulgaria was initiated and hosted by Varna Shipping and Trading.  

Brokers from all parts of the country attended the meeting. In a dialogue spirit and friendly atmosphere the current problems facing the maritime industry were discussed. Radka Russeva, Manager of the Shipping Department at Varna Shipping & Trading opened the meeting and expressed her confidence that Bulgarian shipbrokers will start to collaborate with each other more actively, especially in the times of global economic crisis.

All of the participants agreed that the initiative is very good and were optimistic that such meetings will become a tradition for the future.
